Nowadays, I find that many take things for granted and that they ought to deserve certain things. Simple things like when you are driving and you need to jump queue. Do you show a hand signal saying "Thank You"? When you get something from someone, do you say "Thank You"? Or when someone calls you, and there is a "Missed Call", do you return the call? Or do you reply the sms?
Recently, I sent a friend A, a birthday gift. He resides overseas. In that envelope which was addressed to him, I also inserted a gift for a friend, B. The gift took a week to reach. B emailed me and thanked me. But I have not heard from A, not sms, not email, not a phone call. That's strange. If A acknowledged and B didn't, I would think that A has not passed it to B. But B called, so definitely A has received it. But what I am coming at is, why is it so hard to say thank you and appreciate what a friend has gone through to do for you. Young people. I think they ought to go back to school.
